Australian Halcyon Health Pty Ltd was founded on November 28, 2014 and currently owns two medical centres. They are Moonah Health Centre in Hobart and Wantirna South Medical Centre. in Victoria. All two medical centres have served the community for many years.
Our medical centres place an emphasis on holistic, preventative health care and life style modification involving diet, exercise, stress management and screening programs. We provide excellence in high quality, comprehensive medical care for our patients in a relaxed environment.
Moonah Health Centre - Moving to bulk billing from 17th November 2025
Our practice has signed up to be a Medicare Bulk Billing Practice. This means we will bulk bill all Medicare-eligible patients for all eligible services under the program. Bulk billing means we accept the Medicare benefit as full payment for a service, and you do not have to pay any gap fee.
Eligible services
- GP consultations
- Chronic condition management plans and reviews
- Mental health treatment plans
- Health assessments
Some services won’t be bulk billed and may incur a fee. These include:
- Procedures like skin biopsy, Implanon insertion or removal
- Services not on the Medicare Benefits Schedule (e.g. Pre-employment Assessment, Commercial Driving Assessment)
- Workers Compensation related consultations
- Non-Attendance Fee
- Patients without a Medicare number

We believe everyone deserves access to high-quality healthcare. If you have a valid Medicare card, your consultation can be billed directly to Medicare — no gap fee.
